At least 50 feared killed as bomb explosion rocks Borno Market

At least 50 people  are  feared   killed in  a  fresh bomb explosion at Sabon-gari market  in Damboa Local Government  Area of Borno State,northeastern Nigeria on Tuesday.

Though no group has claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s explosion,  the  attack have  the imprimatur of Boko Haram terrorists that have ravaged the north east.

Reports said   deadly blast occurred  from an  Improvised Explosive Device ,IED apparently  hidden in the marked before it exploded killing many traders

The latest attack came after what appeared like several days of  lull in explosions and attacks from the  terrorists.

The military and civilian JTF have intensified their activities against  the  terrorists resulting in several arrests.

President Muhammadu Buhari has  rejigged Nigeria’s security  system including the appointment of  a new set of service chiefs.And the new Chief of Army Chief,Major General  Tukur Yusuf Buratai has made  the enforcement of peace in the north east a priority.
