Why online shopping is great, legal and globally acceptable shopping method?

Technology has brought people, goods and services from all over the world together, internet has made the world like a global village; so that a young lady living in China is able to enroll and study online a university somewhere in The Us, a teenager is able to pay and download a video game from an online shop.

Some of the high points of the post include:

• You should use a secure personal computer with a secure browser
• You should buy from a reputable store
• You should not send credit card details through emails
• You can use a virtual card if you are not convinced beyond doubt that online shopping is really safe.

The consumer markets are gradually shifting to the internet, a lot of people are now embracing online shopping, why shouldn’t you. If you are not taking advantage of this technology you are truly surcharging yourself.

Some people come up with this notion that online shopping is not safe. That is not the true picture, its like saying to yourself, it’s not safe to go over to the shop in the neighborhood and you decide to go home instead, what great reason made you leave home in the first place? Online shopping has its own challenges and enormous benefits that you must be part of. Why should you be more confidence clicking on online shopping cart and make a purchase? The following should convince you:

1.  A lot of men, women and teenagers are paying for stuff online using their credit cards or a virtual payment means like PayPal, Google checkout, cash u, etc. the statistics of shoppers in recent times has grown over 5 times as compared to 4 years ago. At this very moment that you are reading this post, there are millions of shoppers buying an item or more online and paying using a Visa, Master or any other credit card.

2. Ask for the opinion of people around you; you friends, family or colleagues especially tech savvy persons.  When you ask this person certainly some will have one reservation, but surely a greater percentage of those you speak with will have something favorable to tell you or they will offer to find out for you or they will advise you to research using Google, hmm.  Go to your trade union or reputable businesses around you and ask about their online market presence; also find out if they have any of their business processes that involve finances online.

3. Go for a test shopping: The best way to understand personally the online market is to get an experience of successful shopping. In other to do this test shopping:

• Get a gift cards, virtual card or a debit card for $20 or $30.
• Search online for any item you could buy from a regular shop and when you find it.
• Find the online store that has the item and make sure it is a reputable store like Amazon, click bank, craigslist, eBay etc. and click on the product and you will be taken to a secure window where the address bar turns green or so with HTTPS instead of HTTP usually.

• Fill out the form requested and make your payment.
• The site will take you through a process of attempting to confirm your ownership of the card.
• If the transaction goes through the item will be shipped to you for physical goods, but for digital product like programs, videos, music and video game, you are provided a link to download it and there is option to get it shipped to you if you still want a hard copy.

4. Study the statistics of online shoppers: Check the statistics of online shoppers;

5. My online shopping experience: 
This hosting company whose server contains this site and all other sites I designed is both Yahoo and the blogging platform for this site is Google and how was I able to get them to host it for me? I will tell you how.

• I went to zenith bank and enquired about their credit and debit card services.
• Since I wanted to host the site quickly I opted for the debit card.
• The card was issued to me after registering and providing relevant certifications.
• I used the card on these sites.

I have also used zenith bank cards for other transactions on sites like Adword, Hostgator, and site where I made different software download and trainings online. I am also exploring some other cards.

Nothing should stop from doing shopping online, go online, search for products you want, click, click and click; don’t be shy to click on shopping cart. Let the transaction go through and in no time the item will be shipped to you.
