Internet Security free war spammer report
Everyday spammers get access to email users email addresses and passwords in no few cases. It is becoming a disturbing trend for people to constantly use internet email services with this recurring security danger.
Internet war spammers are individuals that move around homes, public places, office environments and businesses with laptops in search of wifi locations or spots with open or unprotected wifi/wireless access points with access to the Internet. When they find any, they break-into the network and virtually take over the network and use it for whatever purpose they wish. Most times by hijack (-ing) the web connection they use it to send unsolicited e-mails which we refer to as spam mails.
Sometimes when war spammers hijack a network, they could introduce Trojans (a kind of computer virus that hides in a computers to spy users computer usage behavior, history, emails, network folders, credit card information, passwords, and other sensitive data in your computer
If it is discovered that nefarious activities have been traced to you network, your internet service provider (ISP) may close your access to the internet for breach of service policy.
It’s a bad idea to configure your network without including any form of security, because your network will broadcast freely for all to gain access to and you pay the bill for the internet connection. Moreover, anyone gaining access to your network could do whatsoever they wish with your network without anyone getting to know who did.
War spammers don’t waste much time trying to crack your network security unless they have special interest in the activities that go on in your network. So, a basic network security configuration will do just fine for not so sophisticated user. In order to secure your home or office network do the following easy none cumbersome steps:
1. For Most wifi routers and access points like Linksys or Belkin, just enable the Wireless Protected Access-WPA or Wired Equivalent Privacy- WEP encryption and create an Service Set Identifier-SSID for your network with a none familiar password
2. Constantly change the admin password regularly
3. Ensure your computer virus/firewall is running and is continually updated
